“Money can’t buy happiness, but I’d rather be crying in a Ferrari.”
So no, money can’t buy happiness… but baby, whether you’re crying in a Ferrari or a ‘96 Nissan Altima, you are STILL crying.
This conversation really gets down to love languages, and if you don’t know yours or your significant other’s, it’s likely that everything is going to feel out of place. Definitely take a little time out of your day to take the test to determine yours and your SOs. Also, don’t forget that we all have different love languages. Everyone gives and receives love in different ways so don’t compare the love someone is giving you with the love you think other people are getting based on your social media research.
So let’s get to it…
Just because someone isn’t loving you in the way you’d like them too, doesn’t mean they don’t love you with everything they have.
How someone (who you aren’t in a relationship with) accepts love, is none of your business.
Someone spoiling you financially does not solely determine the strength of a relationship.
Material things are lovely, but they can be broken, lost, stolen, even forgotten. A true connection is worth keeping your heart for, and even if you lose that, you’ll always know what you’re looking for. Don’t lose out on a good person because they’re bank account wasn’t cushioned enough to break your fall.
