Remember the good ole days when phone conversations actually happened?
I’ll admit, I’m old school. I just can’t put the same effort into nor get the same good vibes out of a “text conversation” as I can from an actual phone conversation. Whether you’re into texting or calling, the key to having a great, natural conversation is having a good topic of conversation. Most women have no problem talking, but that doesn’t mean the conversation is always fruitful or headed in a direction that will lead to yet another conversation. So where do you start when you do, indeed, want there to be another conversation with this special lady? Here are four topics women love to talk about!
1. Her latest.
Naturally, people enjoy talking about themselves. From event planning to brainstorming to her latest travel fantasies, a woman loves being able to talk about important things she’s been planning or doing. Giving her the opportunity to express herself and her progress is a surefire way to really kick off a great conversation. Genuinely being interested earns you extra brownie points!
It doesn’t only have to be her favorite things, either. Most women really like these types of conversation starters, especially when you all are still in the “getting to know you” stages of the relationship. Try not to be redundant though. You’ll start off asking things like her favorite color, but eventually, you’ll roll up on a favorite that you both have in common and the conversation is sure to flow from there.
3. Your future plans.
I know this can be a little startling initially, but I’m not talking about your future with her. Talk about your future. Women want to know what your plans for your future are. It’s important to know whether or not you have a desire to get married and start a family or if you’d rather live in a loft in Downtown L.A. by yourself. These types of things are really important when getting to know someone and can really tell you a lot about a person.
This one is kind of tricky, but still, it would be a lie if I said this was not one of the things women enjoy talking about. The conversation must be tasteful and your delivery has to be flawless, so don’t just openly say the nastiest thing you can think of. When the conversation is sexy and not too provocative… women love it. Trust me.
Here’s to fruitful future conversations, fellas.
