“Hi, I’m Flower!” The wait is finally over. Meet my Flower, everybody. Harper just turned 6 weeks on Wednesday and I am so glad to finally introduce her to you all. As you can see from the picture, she is very full of life! I wonder where she gets that from! Harper at 6 Weeks: Loves bathtime. Loves to smile. Loves to eat. Loves The Isley Brothers. Along with my genuine happiness for an opportunity to raise life, I believe there are a few other things that come with being a mom that made me more desirable to men. Every time I see these pictures; every time I read this letter… I cry. I have never felt so fulfilled in my entire life. I hope that you can share those same sentiments with me as I welcome you into this very personal, life-altering chapter of […]

“I F*cked Up..”: How to Apologize When You (Really) Messed Up

Okay, before we get into things, let us first acknowledge that nobody is perfect. I get that. However, that is not a good enough reason to neglect knowing how to apologize to someone when you’ve done something wrong. It doesn’t mean you cheated, it could simply be a time you didn’t show them support when they needed it most. Either way, the key to any lasting relationship is forgiveness–but it’s kind of hard to forgive someone who didn’t even apologize for their actions. When I came up with this topic, I sat and thought of real-life examples in my own life. Whether I […]

DueDate

On Friday’s you can expect new GoddessColumnTV videos and I thought what better way to start the first episode of the new year than to celebrate a very momentous occasion in my life. Today is a very exciting day for me as I am happy to reach my 38th week of pregnancy and I can truly start to prepare myself for giving birth. There were many people who requested that I documented my pregnancy more after I wrote “Dear Mommy, I’m Not A Mistake”, but it was very important for me to give myself enough valuable time to accept and grow with my pregnancy. I’m finally at a place where I can share a little bit more about how it now that I”m just two weeks before giving birth! Continue reading
