Quick Style Tips 101 : Men’s Edition

I usually talk to the ladies a lot but today I want to talk to my guys for a minute. As women there is so much emphasis put on the way we should look, smell, act, etc. But I think I can speak for all my beautiful ladies and say that as women we don’t have a problem looking good for our man but we also want our man to compliment us as well. I mean you know how it is when you see a beautiful woman with a man and you’re thinking  “wow, how did he manage to grasp her” So today I’m just going to give you guys a little insight on how to make sure you can match her stylish efforts.

  1. Be versatile. There is nothing more attractive than a man who knows how to switch it up. Don’t get stuck into one particular style and stay there. We want to see you in sneakers one day and wing tips the next. A man that can pull off a white V neck tee and ripped jeans but turns around and has on a nice European cut suit flawlessly is a keeper.
  2. I’ve recently fallen in love with the nice full beard, but there is nothing sexy about a full figure beard if it isn’t well groomed.  I mean don’t get me wrong some women prefer to see men with a nice scruffy look but I think that even with a bit of ruggedness to you it should still be maintained. There is no need to look like a caveman.
  3. And you thought women were the only ones who needed a hygiene survival kit. I think not! It is equally important for men to ensure that their hygiene is on point. Every woman wants their man to smell good. There is nothing like a fresh shower and nice spritz of cologne (Polo Black is my personal favorite) on a good looking man. And don’t forget to moisturize your skin (with good lotion), and use a nice scented masculine body wash and/or soap.
  4. Ok this one may be simple to some of you but iron your clothes. Take pride in what you wear and how you look. At this point in your life you may not be able to afford all of the things that you would like but at least take good care of what you have. I’ve always heard people say never judge a book by it’s cover but let’s just be honest more often than not you’re going to be judge by the way you look! And In my opinion the way a man takes care of his shoes and clothes says a lot about him.
  5. Really baggy clothing are really a thing of the past. And for all of you guys that think that wearing clothing that actually fit makes you look “gay” please step outside of the stereotypical frame of mind (Besides sexual orientation has nothing to do with an outer appearance). It’s time to broaden your horizons and live a little. And if you are an adult male and still dramatically sag your pants I need you to do an introspection and regroup because that is absolutely unacceptable!

Ok guys, that’s all I have for you right now, but I’m going to have some conversations with women all over the world and get their insight on what they prefer when it comes to their men. So stay tuned and until next time…….. Muah!
